Just read todays group e-mail and read the post about Grant assistance for MTF SRS at the Clinic in Miami. PLEASE let me know as soon as possible what I need to do to be considered for one of the grants. I have completed all necessary steps to have surgery, and can have my two letters by next week if needed. Thank You!!!!!!! Gishelle

Hello there;
I ran across your web page and saw the grant for srs. I am a 51 yr old MtF transgender and a disabled vet. My income is limited for the surgery and have been trying to get creative for it. I am in excellent health as far as any vet can be. At this time the Veterans Hospital will NOT reconize nor approve the surgery. I have been living as a woman full time sence 2005. The mental health department have known me for all those years as well. I have everyone wanting and in agreement that I should have the surgery but have no funds for it. Everyone knows me as a woman now and I have breast, the form and the manners, but no vagina. Please help me for I feel stuck between two worlds.
