Diabetic seeking vaginoplasty (MTF)

I have been on hormones for over 3 yrs, and I have been living full time as a female since July or 2007. Specific_Questions: I have been diabetic for 42years, and on insulin for that same amount of time. I am e5’5′and weight 135lbs. I am currently 47 and very active. Would me being on insulin keep me from having the surgery (MTF, feminizing vaginoplasty) , if I can ever come up with the money? Laura

Sounds like you are well on your way.
Diabetics in good control have elective surgery everyday.
Our practice is office based with an overnight stay, so you would have to show no evidence of systemic disease, i.e. a very normal stress EKG and ideally no hypertension. Your height weight conformation is excellent.
