Hi, I am currently 32 y/o and currently on hormones for the past 3 years. I am considering Breast Augmentation and looking for info.
Specific_Questions: what types of implants do you use and their brands. Which type of incisions do you use? and Prices.

Good morning Victoria,
There are 2 major implant devices out there, Allergan (formerly Inamed) and Mentor, and we are very happy with Mentor. We would be pleased to use Allergan, equally good if you prefer. Our fees and photographic results are posted on our web-site http://srsmiami.com/breast-augmentation.html
We favor a very small 1 1/2″ inframamary incision which is ideal for sub-pectoral approach, and if properly sewn and taped will heal quite nicely. We have done and could do a lower peri-areolar incision, but in my opinion not as desirable because 9 times out of 10, no matter who does the operation the incision line is usually apparent when you are undressed. The inframamary incision is lying in a natural fold and you’d have to lift your breast and say “here it is” for someone to note its presence. Also when you have a peri-areolar incision your natural “home-grown” breast is cut into to finally get to the sub-pectoral plane. With the inframammary approach, it is never disturbed.
Sincerely and have a restful Sunday,
Harold M. Reed, M.D.
