MTF Grant, Still Available?

I’m still in the process of gathering up the money for the SRS, but I’ve been able to acquire a psychologist letter of approval according to the SOC. I will be seeing my endocrinologist the early part of November and hopefully he will give me the medical clearance. Is there any type grant or discount for a veteran living on a VA pension? Served 17 years in the Air Force due to being on the over-weight program in an overseas area I opted to take the VSI/SRB money. I was released with an Honorable Discharge and 37K in Aug 92. The money is long gone and the weight is as well.

Our grant program was initiated in late 2009 with the slogan “the first 10 in 2010.”
This had been made possible with the revenues from testicular donations for research. The project was concluded after a determination testicles of patients on estrogens were not suitable for the study.
The last opening has been recently vacated by a patient with anorexia nervosa. She cannot have surgery any time soon. Yes, we will be passing this on to someone like yourself.
A few applicants are eyeing that. You may anticipate a 25% savings, if that is of help. If you qualify we ask that you confirm with a 50% good faith deposit which is non-refundable. Please exercise due caution.
You will still require contingency funds for out of pocket expenses and the like.
