Hello, I am a mother. My son is now 11 years old. My son was cycling in the spring when a serious injury.  He must have  been removed testicle. The second testicle is also much bruised. It is possible to change gender MTF? According to the doctors after the accident is certain that he will be sterile.

Currently, the scrotum, one testicle implant size 3 cm, and one’s own,  but non-functional testicle – interrupted vas deferens.  It is possible during the holidays to orchidectomy + removal of the scrotum and the removal of the penis? How much would this cost?   At what age should I then create female sex organs (vagina and labia)?

Thank Katyusha

Good afternoon Katyusha,

Many studies and reports have shown that sexual conversion after a genital injury and your son’s is really modest, is never a good idea, specially if there is no transgender ideation. He is a boy with male psyche who will some day become a man.

Please do not do this or even discuss this with him.

Best wishes,

Hello,
Thank you for your message. I was dreaming of the psychological examination. According to him, he wants to change himself and would be happy for her. On the advice of a doctor we have not tried it half a year rather girlish role. Outdoor clothing unisex or slightly girlish, linens and even body care clean girls. We have also kept long hair cut and girls do. Son is in this new identity is satisfied and not ashamed of it even in public. I want to ask if you decide for surgery, before puberty, it is better to just remove the male organs (penis and scrotum) and girls shape up as an adult? or is it better to do everything in one?

How about the price for this surgery?

Thank Katyusha

Good morning Katyusha

Are you sure the accident to his testicle happened from cycling and not from an attempt by him to remove his testicle on his own?   We see this also.

As for surgery, the consensus of professional therapists is not to have surgery performed until age 18, as people may change their mind.  He can be placed on hormonal blockers to suppress male puberty and developing a deep voice.  This will have an adverse effect on his eight potential unfortunately.

I have enclosed an attachment we send to prospective patients.  At this time it is fair to say your son needs to be seen by a psychologist who is a licensed gender therapist with a doctoral degree, and perhaps an endocrinologist to initiate hormonal blockade.

With kindest regards,

  1. Hello Katyusha,

I agree with Dr Reed about your son’s situation, it is possible that he actually is a transgender. Personally, i wanna to be a female since when i was at the age of 4. I think the accident was just a coincidence for your son to have sex change thought in his mind. Do you really accept him to be a daughter in the future?

    Regards,
    Sarah
