Have clitoral sensation, but difficulty achieving orgasm
I am having difficulty achieving orgasm following SRS MTF vaginoplasty. My clitoris has sensation and it is pleasant.

Hi Kathy,
Sinemet has an off-label usage to “trip” people such as yourself into orgasm.
A normal female testosterone level is also helpful. (Levels between 50 to 70 ng/dl). This is about 1/10th of normal male.
This should be handled by an endocrinologist who can follow you. Consider testosterone gel applied to skin, as injections have peak and troughs and oral may have adverse effects on your liver. All medications may have unwanted side effects such as the potential for hair growth with testosterone. Please discuss this with your chosen doctor
Best wishes,

Dr. Harold,
Can you please elaborate on the off-lable usage of Sinemet? I an haveing difficulty in achieving orgasm 1.5 years post operativly.
I should clairify that I too have good clitoris sensativity, but do not easily get enough sensitive enough to trigger an orgasm. I have been able to achieve a few with much effort, but never with a partner. I’m healthy, and vegetarian, exercise regularly, take a ton of suppliments (in the Natural Food Biz) and am in great physical shape. However, I am a former smoker. Would there be any way to help increase blood flow? I also seem to be more sensative at times, and others it doesn’t matter what my partner does to stimulate me. I had a two stage proceedure (Meltzer) and the labia that hoods my clitoris is totally numb. It’s been over a year since the labiaplasty, so I don’t know if that will ever improve. I have inquired with my surgeon, but his advice was basically “good luck with that”. I would appreciate any advice you may have to improve my functionality with regard to becoming orgasmic. I would be happy to pay a consultation fee if you feel that there may be some advice you can provide that would be beneficial to me.
Thank You!
Dr. Reed,
I would appreciate any information you can provide on the off-lable use of Sinemet to “trip” people into orgasm. I have been unable to find this information elsewhere. Also, is there any surgical proceedure post GRS that would improve my ability to orgasm?
Jenna. Please call the office for a consultation as licensed physicians cannot make specificc medical recomendations to unkown patients.
Sincerely,
Harold M. Reed, M.D.
