If I have an orchiectomy now, will I have enough scrotal skin for MTF vaginoplasty

Dr. Reed, If I have an orchiectomy now, will I have enough scrotal skin for MTF vaginoplasty?  I am sort of stuck between the wish to remove the testes and lose some of the sagging scrotal skin but would like to be assured, a few years later I will still have enough skin for a deep vagina.  Mirabal

Dear Mirabal,  Worry not. When you have an orchiectomy and the scrotal cords are removed, you will definitely have less mass effect or a smaller scrotal silhouette.  The scrotum stretches very easily so rest comfortably.  There will be enough skin for a very capacious scrotal extension.

Cordially,

Orchiectomy Example 2: Another patient status post orchiectomy and scrotal removal, unsure if she was ever capable of going all the way. P.S. she now wishes to have complete MTF and loss of scrotum poses no problem whatsoever. Hoping to post followup photos in a few months.
