Is your transgender vaginoplasty lubricated or moist

Dr. Reed, Is your transgender male to female vaginoplasty lubricated?  GerriAnn

Dear GerriAnn,

Natal sexually active women exude a fluid when they are aroused which is technically called a transudate.  This is analogous to serum which is very slippery in part because of the proteins that passed through the capillary walls.

Our party line is that although our one stage surgery may result in a moist appearance, you may have to supplement that either with oral sex or KY jelly.  About 10% of natal men with exude “pre-cum” when they are aroused and this may help also.  Could be from you or your partner.  Be assured some way you’ll get there. My patients don’t complain about that.  Love finds a way.

The use of vaginal estrogen creams under the aegis of your doctor may enhance vascularity and moisture

Below are some transgender vaginoplasty pictures of moist vaginas (vulvas)
