Revision of vaginoplasty, Labiaplasty

Dear Dr. Reed,  Please consider my request for revision of vaginoplasty which was done elsewhere here in the USA.  My stream does not go down and I have a bulge when I am aroused which makes penetration somewhat awkward.

Dear Wendy,

Thank you for visiting our web-sites and also

We have seen just about everything imaginable, probably many times.  In a addition to your critique I’ll probably make some other recommendations.  If you wish, you can start out by sending some well focused photos, best are midrange not close up.

The bulge you mention seems reminiscent of a urethral spongiosum rest.  There is erectile tissue which surrounds the male urethra and this has to be removed, cauterized, and ligated to correct that swelling problem.  Am looking forward to corresponding with you and eventually revising your vaginoplasty.

With kindest regards,

Harold M. Reed, M.D.
