Transgender Orchiectomy

Male to female orchiectomy is usually a transitional step towards vaginoplasty, but for some
may be a final step.  The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia with IV sedation
via a single vertical midline incision about 1″ long.  Yes, we also will remove the spermatic cords to avoid
that tootsie roll effect which contributes bulk to your scrotum.

Occasionally we will remove the scrotum as shown in http://srsmiami.com/orchiectomy/ although the scrotum is a valuable source of skin when added vaginal depth is needed.

We ask that 2 letters of therapy clearance be advanced to our office and a phone consultation initiated before
scheduling.

Because your comfort is very important, we ask that you leave your compressive dressing on for a full 2 days,
before showering.  We hope you will find our fee of 2,500 affordable.
